Think twice, before you give yourself an inch... 'Innocent' exceptions can sabotage your progress. Just say no.
Even those little things that you don't think will make a difference, actually do add up. Or worse, they could spin out of control from an innocent exception into a major act of willful indulgence and loss of discipline--which set you back much more than you planned!
Stay on track. It is definitely worth it, and you'll have no regrets afterwards!

Random concepts.
Daily repeating activities which have seemingly imperceptible results will produce incredible changes over time.
Delayed gratification: Passing on a moment of pleasure now, for even greater pleasure later on.
A moment on the lips, hours on the treadmill.

Explanation
This is my motivational blog. It is a work in progress. As am I.
"Success is the ongoing process of striving to become more. It is the opportunity to continually grow emotionally, socially, spiritually, physiologically, intellectually, and financially while contributing in some positive way to others. The road to success is always under construction. It is a progressive course, not an end to be reached." A quote from Anthony Robbins
Personal growth is very important to me. In this blog, I plan to collect various motivational concepts and statements that I would like to remember. These may come from a variety of sources, and I will try to always give credit where it is due, to the best of my knowledge. If you have something worthwhile to add, please feel free to comment!
